Emily O'Brien is a PhD student working on privacy and publicity in domestic tragedy and cheap printed murder narratives in early modern England. Her research is funded by the Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences. She is a tutor at Trinity College Dublin where she has taught sixteenth-century literature, Shakespeare, and theatre.
